First Submission

I would just like to introduce myself to the Virginia political blogosphere...I am a 22 year old Richmond native who just graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Right now, I'm looking for jobs in the Washington DC metro area (specifically on Capitol Hill) and I've always wanted to start a blog but never had the time...until now! I would describe myself as an Independent-leaning Democrat, though I criticize both parties and will endorse good candidates from both parties. I don't believe in machine politics, and I simply abhor the negative tone of politics today, but politics in general continues to fascinate me. I would like to add to the already impressive discussion of Virginia politics available online.
